The Council of the Faculty of Computers and Information convened its regular meeting for January 2026 on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, at 12:00 noon. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Essam Halim Hussein, Dean of the Faculty, and was attended by the Vice Deans, Heads of Academic Departments, the Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, and other members of the Council.
At the outset of the session, the Dean approved the minutes of the previous meeting. The Council then reviewed the achievements and activities completed during the past month, highlighting progress across academic and administrative domains.
The meeting proceeded to discuss the agenda items related to the Quality Assurance Unit, undergraduate education and student affairs, postgraduate studies, environmental affairs, as well as matters concerning faculty members. These discussions were held within the framework of enhancing academic performance, improving educational quality, and supporting the faculty’s strategic objectives in line with the university’s overall development plan.
