The Faculty of Computers and Information at Minia University has released the official admission and transfer guidelines for its new, fee-based programs in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and Cybersecurity for the 2025/2026 academic year.

Prospective students from both the Science and Mathematics secondary school streams who have been initially accepted into the Faculty of Computers and Information through the central placement system are eligible to apply for these programs.

The university has also outlined specific pathways for transfer students:

• Transfers are accepted from students initially placed in other Faculties of Computers and Information or Artificial Intelligence across Egypt, provided they meet the national minimum admission score for these faculties.

• Transfers from students placed in other faculties will also be considered, contingent upon them meeting the same national minimum admission score required for Faculties of Computers and Information.

All applications for transfers to these distinguished programs must be processed exclusively through the Central Student Affairs Office located in the main university administration building.

The application window for transfers is now open and will run from August 3, 2025, until September 25, 2025.
