The mechatronics and industrial robots program of Faculty of Engineering, Minia University, won first place and third in the fourth Egyptian Junior Researcher Competition within 665 projects.

The project team consisted of Assem Mohamed, Mohamed Juioshy, Ahmed Farag, and Essam Al-Hassan. 

The 4th Egyptian Junior Researcher Competition is the national special edition of the Undergraduate Research Forum (UGRF) organized by Nile University to extend the invitation – for the 4th year in a row - to all Egyptian undergraduate junior research talents with the participation of 60 Egyptian Universities.

The event was held under the auspices of The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Egypt (NTRA), the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology – ASRT, Nile Preneurs Initiative, the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Egyptian branch for electron device engineering (EDS).
